Bodega Gómez y Rial.

Gómez & Rial is a family-owned winery located in the Ulla Valley, 10 km from Santiago de Compostela. Named for the two families who own the winery, their mission is to maintain and continue the winemaking tradition they started in the Galician countryside. The winery was founded in 2002 and since then, they have produced exceptional quality, authentic Albariños in the D.O Rías Baixas.
100% of the production comes from their estate vineyards, where the moist soil and mild climate create ideal growing conditions for the grapes. The vines are between 15 and 31 years old and are planted on traditional pergola-style trellises, along with single cordon trellises. The care and daily work in vineyard ensures the quality of their wines.
Goméz y Rial combines traditional winemaking methods with the latest viticulture technologies. Grapes are selected from their four hectare vineyard at the exact moment of balance between sugar content and acid, which guarantees an excellent final quality. The result is a limited production of high-quality albariños with Gómez & Rial’s family seal.

Clean and bright with vibrant yellow tones. Complex and aromatic notes of orange blossom, citrus, honeydew and grapefruit. The palate has a lovely mouthfeel with lively fruit sensations of nectarine, lemon zest and a slight salinity.
