Bodegas Staphyle.

Now in its third generation, the Porretta family founded Bodegas Staphyle in the heart of Argentina’s famed Mendoza winegrowing region. Their wineries are scattered around the region’s best growing areas of Agrelo, Ugarteche, Valle de Uco and Potrerillos, and offer some of the best growing conditions that Argentina has to offer. The family has been instrumental in the growth of Mendoza and has aided in the development of key infrastructure for the benefit of all winemakers in the region.
Staphyle’s wine making process begins with a manual harvest where the grapes are then moved to the winery in small boxes. After a bunch selection, the grapes are put into stainless steel tanks where the fermentation begins. Once finished, the wines rest and ripen in French oak barrels specially selected to highlight the quality and personality of the terroir.
Their commitment to the region the winemaking process constantly guides them in their core principal of offering "The best of our land, in each bottle."
